Our learning disabilities services help children and young people to reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives. We also play an important role in supporting parents and carers, through respite provision and education.

  1. Children's Community Learning Disability Team

    A multidisciplinary team that work with children and young people who have a Coventry and Warwickshire GP, a diagnosed moderate to severe learning disability and behaviours that challenge, and associated complex health needs.

    Dimensions of Health and Wellbeing is a free accessible online tool that provides a personalised profile and information to support adults, children and young people in Coventry and Warwickshire.

  4. Education and Learning Support

    Special education provision – tailored teaching, smaller class sizes, and Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Learning support assistants – staff who help individuals understand lessons or manage tasks. Transition planning – help moving from school to college, training, or work. Adult learning programs – community classes adapted for different learning needs.
