Working as a consultant
Consultants working with us provide clinical leadership for multidisciplinary teams as well as participate in defining the strategic direction for the Trust.
Many of our consultants work in partnership with other organisations and agencies to develop their service area and further develop knowledge within their specialism. There are also opportunities to get involved in research and teaching.
We're establishing a new mentorship program to support newly appointed consultants to thrive in their role.

Our research
We have a bespoke Research and Innovation department closely linked to local universities. We have 14 medical research studies including learning and participating in national studies on trauma, psychosis, and autism. There are opportunities for doctors to be involved in or lead research studies, as well as support resident doctors as supervisors.
Supporting the next generation of doctors
We are a teaching trust, and we're proud to have strong links with Warwick University and its Medical School and growing research partnerships with Warwick and Coventry Universities. We support medical students from both Warwick University and Buckingham Medical School, and postgraduate trainees in all our specialities. We also hold consultant interview skills workshops and mock interviews to support our trainees.

We're passionate about fostering a sense of community for our doctors at all levels. We host a number of events throughout the year, including:
