Viral Kantaria - Chief Transformation Officer
The Chief Transformation Officer marks a new approach to commissioning mental health, learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental services in Coventry and Warwickshire. Viral leads work on commissioning, health equity, including the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF), population health, neighbourhood health transformation and partnership working. These programmes are critical to improving outcomes for local people and addressing the wider factors that affect health and wellbeing.
Background and experience
Viral brings a wealth of experience to the role. He has held senior positions overseeing major investment and transformation programmes in mental health at NHS England and East London NHS Foundation Trust, and, most recently, was Chief of Staff to the National Chief Operating Officer.
