Our Charity
The Difference You Make
Our NHS staff do a fantastic job. The funds you raise help them to make things even better for our patients and their families.
Thanks to your generous support, UHCW Charity funds world-leading equipment, trains NHS staff in ground breaking techniques and improves surroundings, helping to create a warm and comfortable environment for all.
Together we can make life-saving projects happen sooner for our staff and patients
The Loft Garden
Since the outbreak of Covid-19 many of CWPT’s patients have been unable to participate in their therapy groups at the Loft. When we are able to welcome them back, we would love to provide them with a dedicated therapeutic area.
The Loft Garden is in desperate need of time, love and attention to transform it into a calming space. Once completed, the garden will be used to inspire and encourage patients to spend time in the outside space improving their health and mental well-being.
With your help and kind generosity we will transform the site into a therapeutic garden where patients can enjoy new experiences, appreciate the attractive surroundings, improve their well-being and, in time, attend their groups again. Vist the JustGiving page to donate to this worthy cause.
Bradbury House Sensory Room
Bradbury House is an NHS overnight respite service for children with learning disabilities and complex behaviours.
We need your help to refresh the sensory room at Bradbury House which is currently not fit for purpose. Your donation will make a real difference to the children and their families who would benefit from the use of an innovative sensory room.

Bedworth Walking Group donate pool table to Ferndale Unit
A huge thank you to the Bedworth Walking Group (pictured) who helped to raise money to buy a new pool table for Ferndale patients at St. Michael's Hospital, Warwick. It is very much appreciated by the patients and everyone at CWPT.
Kindness Charity funds hospital relaxation room
Evelyn’s Gift, a Warwickshire based charity, and staff at St Michael’s Hospital have worked together to create a new relaxation area for patients on the hospital’s Willowvale Ward.
St Michael’s Hospital provides inpatient mental health care and is run by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT).
Earlier in the year, the charity’s founder Helen Smith met with staff on the ward to hear about their plans to create a relaxation room for patients, and to offer ideas on how to transform the area. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Helen and her team have been unable to visit the hospital, however they continued to donate the money so that the transformation could take place.
Everyone at CWPT is so incredibly grateful to Helen and Evelyn’s Gift for their kind donation.
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) is included within the University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW) Charity. The charity makes things better for our staff, our patients and their families. The Charity was founded in 1996 and to date has raised millions of pounds helping thousands of patients and their families. It is the registered charity for CWPT and UHCW NHS Trust (inc. University Hospital, Coventry and the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby).
