A note from our CEO...
...As a Trust, we are committed to becoming a place where people want to work, and we know that supporting your health and wellbeing is incredibly important in achieving that aim. Staff at CWPT demonstrate an unwavering commitment every single day to improving the health and wellbeing of our patients. It is my job to empower you to prioritise your own wellbeing and provide safe and healthy work environments.
Being compassionate, respectful, collaborative, and providing excellent care delivered with integrity, requires knowledge, skill, and energy. To uphold our organisational values and become outstanding in what we do, we must not only look after the health and wellbeing of our patients but also our own wellbeing, ensuring we stay fit and healthy and are supported to be the best we can be by our leadership.
The NHS Staff Survey highlighted that we have some work to do to improve the awareness of the existing health and wellbeing initiatives on offer in the Trust as well as the need to engage with our staff about where we should grow and improve our offer. This guide provides tips on how you can look after your own wellbeing as well as information about our health and wellbeing offer.
We welcome your feedback on where we can improve our initiatives and invite you to submit your ideas for what you would like to see in the future. I commit to take forward ideas that will have the most impact on our staff.
Finally, thank you for your continued hard work.
