The Tissue Viability Service provides specialist wound management advice to residents living in and registered with a Coventry GP.
We can support you in wound management to assist you in providing high quality clinical and cost effective care.
The Tissue Viability team offers:
- Clinical wounds assessment
- Home visits
- Wound clinics
- Training and education
- Advice on wound management
We also provide specialist advice on:
- All types of wounds
- Surgical wounds
- Pressure relieving equipment
- VAC therapy
- Wound management products
- Maggot treatment
- Leg ulcer management
- Bespoke training and education
- Prevention and management of pressure ulcers
- Care home support
- Chronic wounds
- Supporting patients with chronic wounds
Referrals
All patients are referred to us by an accredited referrer such as an allied health professional, hospital consultant or GP. Patients and their carers can also refer themselves. Please contact the service if you would like further advice and information on referrals.
