Oral Health Promotion

The Oral Health Promotion Team is part of the Community Dental Service and is commissioned by Coventry City Council.

The team develops and delivers projects and programmes aimed at improving the dental and oral health of the local population and reducing health inequalities.  Our remit has a focus on the early years and nursing and residential settings.  However, our workload is not limited to these areas and includes people with special needs and other vulnerable groups, public events and campaigns. 

The team can also offer support and advice, information sessions and training that can be tailored to specific needs or work areas and are evidence based, evaluated and where appropriate certificated.
