As the cost of living is rising, it is placing pressure on many households. We recognise that this could be impacting you or those around you.

Across Coventry and Warwickshire there is support available to help with household costs including fuel and access to food, financial management advice and access to free mental health wellbeing support. 

We encourage anyone who is struggling or has any concerns to access the free support available and help others by signposting them to this information.

Free help with home heating and servicing

If you live in Stratford on Avon district, the council has set aside funding to help repair or replace broken or old heating systems or even install central heating for the first time – or, pay for a boiler to be serviced.

You’ll need to be a homeowner with a household income of less than £31,000 and limited savings.  You should also have someone at home who has a vulnerability – this is quite broad and discretionary  and includes recent redundancy and pregnancy, so it’s well worth checking out if you think you may be eligible.

The spring and summer are the ideal time to get heating works undertaken in your home.  It means you’ll be set up for more energy efficient heating when winter comes – which will keep your home warmer, safer and ultimately cheaper energy bills.
