Neil McElduff

Background and experience

Neil joined the Trust in September 2022 as a Non-Executive Director. His current term is for three years to September 2025.

Neil is an estates and facilities management consultant/director with broad experience across strategy, operations, and professional services with experience at local, regional, and national levels.

Neil’s career has seen him work within the private sector for Tarmac PLC and over 20 years in the NHS. Neil was a Trust director for eight years and then Executive Director of Community Health Partnerships, a Department of the Health and Social Care property company. He has carried out consultancy for a wide range of NHS bodies, focusing on strategic estate planning across health systems.

Neil’s focus is on population health and improving health outcomes to deliver better health and well-being.

Outside of work, Neil coaches the Great Britain men’s over-40 basketball team who are European silver medallists.

Qualifications

Master of Business Administration (MBA); Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors; Fellow of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management.
