Our new community mental health service for Coventry and Warwickshire

Our Community Mental Health Services have recently undergone a transformation. We have been establishing new and innovative ways of working to ensure our services are delivered in a more holistic, person-centred way, which treats both physical and mental health.

We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated and innovative individuals with an interest in caring for people with complex physical and emotional needs to help us serve our local neighbourhoods.

A pioneering approach

Our service has a long history of developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative psychological treatments, primary and outcome research, and clinical audit. We see these as central pillars of the expanded community service.

The transformation has enabled us to offer greater access to psychological therapies, physical healthcare, employment support, personalised and trauma-informed care, medicines management and support for self-harm and co-existing substance use. This enables the individuals we help to have greater choice and control over their care and to promote meaningful recovery.

We are pioneering co-design and co-production of our services with those who have lived experience of mental health care (Experts by Experience).

Shape the service

By joining our expanding team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to our services and shape and evaluate new ways of working in the field.
