Visitor guidance at CWPT

It is important to recognise the contribution that visiting makes to the wellbeing and the person-centred care of patients; lack of access to visitors causes increased anxiety and distress.

In line with the latest guidelines, patients should be allowed a maximum of two visitors once per day for one hour. This will need to be by a pre-booked appointment only. Please contact the Ward Manager.

The health, safety, mental health and wellbeing of our patients, communities and staff remain the priority, therefore we will request the following.

  • Visitors will be required to wear a surgical face mask while visiting the hospital and must maintain social distancing where possible.
  • Visitors are also asked not to visit facilities if they have symptoms of COVID-19 or have come into contact recently with anyone with the virus.

Restrictions may vary and are subject to change depending on the circumstances of individual wards.

We continue to monitor the situation closely and any changes will be shared via this page.

Our guidance is consistent with Coronavirus how to stay safe and prevent spread and infection prevention and control guidance.

Thank you for your support and cooperation.
