NHS 75 Staff Stories: Nancy Ngoma
Nancy Ngoma - Acting Ward Manager for Aspen Centre
How long have you been in the NHS?
5 years and 8 months.
Why did you choose to work in the NHS?
I wanted to be part of the NHS family and get support as a newly qualified nurse. I wanted to make significant changes to people’s lives by helping them physically, mentally, and emotionally in health and social care. Equality, diversity, and inclusion are very important in the NHS, and they are important to me too. There are personal development opportunities to progress that can increase knowledge and chances of taking up positions that can enhance growth in nursing.
