Experts with Lived Experience Lead Trainer Bio: Sian
Hello, my name is Sian, I am an autistic co-trainer for the Oliver McGowan Training.
I wanted to get involved in the training because I want to help people understand autism better as I feel autism is greatly misunderstood and if I'm able to help provide training from an insiders perspective we can find a way to communicate better with neurodivergent people.
By understanding the differences we can help support those with autism and neurodivergence more effectively.
I am compassionate and understanding, a good listener who likes to help other people.
It helps me in the training room if people communicate clearly with me. I can get overstimulated with too much noise so I may need to take breaks outside the training room.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and being part of your training.
