If you are experiencing problems living with your mental health, our Acute IPU teams will be able to help through a range of support.
Crisis Home Treatment
The Crisis Home Treatment Team provide care, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, to adults (16+) who are experiencing a crisis with their mental health. The team will assess your mental health needs and recommend care to be delivered the Community IPU Teams, Acute Day Services IPU or, in some cases, by our Inpatient IPU Teams in Coventry or Warwickshire. Further information will be provided by your care co-ordinator.
Mental Health Liaison
Mental Health Liaison services offer a psychiatric and risk assessment service in acute healthcare settings, like the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department or wards of local hospitals. This ensures timely care and treatment for patients who have acute mental health issues, when they attend physical healthcare settings, like hospital.
Inpatient Care
Inpatient services provide specialist services to adults who are experiencing a crisis with their mental health and need treatment and care in a safe and secure environment. Inpatient facilities are based at the Caludon Centre in Coventry, and St. Michael’s in Warwick, will work together, in full partnership with Community Mental Health Teams, to ensure that you receive the right treatment that will help your recovery.
