Who we are AND WHAT WE OFFER

Our Occupational Therapists assess and treat children in their own homes, nursery or school (mainstream/special) as well as at the City of Coventry Health Centre, where appropriate.

Intervention may consist of the provision of recommendations and strategies to be integrated into home and school life by the child, family and carers.

Therapy may also be offered, if appropriate, and may can be carried out on a 1:1 basis, or within a group.

Both qualified Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) work within the service. Initial assessments are always carried out by a qualified OT. Your child may receive further assessment and intervention by an OT or an OTA depending upon your child’s need.

All qualified OTs are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
