Coventry Community Integrated Neuro and Stroke Service (CINSS)

  • The Coventry Community Integrated Neuro and Stroke Service (CINSS) is the locality service for Coventry people which supports the End to End Stroke Pathway for the region. There is a similar service for Warwickshire Residents which is called the Warwickshire Community Stroke Service (WCS). The Coventry CINSS team offer access to their team for the people of Coventry who present with a new stroke or a neurological condition who require support on discharge from hospital. The team offers goal led rehabilitation and therapy support to people who have recently left hospital following a new diagnosis of stroke or a neurological condition which requires rehabilitation. The team has specialist team members to provide support to the people who are well enough to be discharged home from hospital and treated in the community. This includes Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists and Rehabilitation Therapy Assistants. These therapists will work with you to ensure they understand what recovery means to you. They will always be open and honest with you regarding their assessments and will work closely with you to help you meet achievable goals.
