We've appointed a new Non-Executive Director

The NHS Trust Development Authority (NHS TDA) has confirmed the appointment of Dianne Whitfield as Non-Executive Director of Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.
 
Dianne is Chief Officer of Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (CRASAC), one of the biggest Rape Crisis centres in the country. She has significant experience working within a range of public sector organisations before training as a Gestalt therapist and joining the voluntary sector. 
 
Her background includes working as a Human Resource specialist in a variety of management roles. She also worked for a number of years as a management consultant specialising in working with NHS organisations and its strategic partners. 
 
A significant part of this has been working in equalities in a variety of different roles. Dianne also continues to work as a Gestalt therapist and group counsellor to survivors and victims of sexual violence.
 
Dianne holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
 
Dianne said: “I am delighted and proud to have been given the opportunity to serve the NHS as a Non-Executive Director. The NHS has such an important role to play in our community, as in every community across the country.
 
“The Trust has a wide range of responsibilities, and I am looking forward to meeting staff, learning more about the work they do, and working with Trust colleagues as we strive to further improve services.”

Non-executive appointments to NHS Trusts are made by the NHS Trust Development Authority (TDA) are subject to the Code of Practice of the Commissioner for Public Appointments.  
 
Dianne has been appointed from 1 April 2016 until 31 March 2018 and is entitled to receive a remuneration of £6,157 per annum. She has declared no political activity in the last five years.
