We are supporting Time to Talk Day

Time to talk day

On Thursday 2 February we are supporting Time to Talk Day by encouraging our staff to take the time to have a cup of tea with their team.

The aim of this year’s national Time to Talk campaign is to give us all the chance to talk and listen about mental health. Making time to have a cup of tea and listening to someone talk about how they feel can make a positive difference to someone’s life.

Mental health problems affect one in four people, yet too often people are afraid to talk about their experiences because they fear it will affect their jobs or relationships. We want to end this stigma and encourage our staff to get talking. Every conversation or every text shared means more people are reached and more lives are changed.

There are a lot of resources available on our website if you would like further support, including the Don’t Panic App and details of the ‘It Takes Balls to Talk’ campaign.

Please also follow us on social media where we regularly post content supporting positive attitudes towards mental health.
