Talent for Care celebrate the completion of the first 3-day 'Get Prepared with the NHS' employability programme
Talent for Care are proud to celebrate the completion of the first 3-day ‘Get Prepared with the NHS’ employability programme, delivered by the Coventry and Warwickshire NHS's Health and Social Care Employability Academy.
The aim of this programme is to inspire Care-Leavers/Looked After Children to consider a career in the NHS, and for them to receive expert careers advice on how they can achieve their dream role.
Resource Administrator, Thomas Clay, from Talent for Care said: “We were delighted to have such eager and engaged candidates on this programme. Furthermore, we would like to extend a massive thank you to all staff and teams for offering their time to support the programme, offer their own experiences in healthcare careers, and for running fantastic workshops to inspire our candidates.”
Talent for Care support the development of existing and new members of staff at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust by providing training opportunities, career discussions, advice, recruitment and retention programmes, the Care Certificate, and apprenticeships.
