In March 2023, Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT) partnered with our local Integrated Care Board (ICB) and SiSu Health to bring CWPT staff free health checks using SiSu Health Stations.

This has been a great initiative for CWPT staff and has given staff the opportunity to get easy access to accurate health checks, personalised support, resources, and healthcare pathways!

Since introducing the health stations, 1260 health checks have been carried across both health stations at Paybody and Wayside House. Just over 20% of the checks carried out were on men, with the majority of checks being conducted on women (around 80%).

For May, there have been 434 checks in total, with a return rate of 12.4% for a second check.

For those staff members who have used the Health Stations more than once, results show an overall net weight loss of 27.8kg. As well as this, returning participants have shown a 62.5% reduction in high blood pressure readings and BMI measurements have decreased by 8.3%.

These figures show some really positive outcomes and highlight how the initiative has been beneficial to our staff at CWPT, and how they’ve been able to use health checks to monitor and improve their physical health and wellbeing.
