Hello, my name is Jacob. 

I deliver the Oliver McGowan training.

I am autistic and I have a learning disability.

If someone didn't know you, what would you like them to see and understand about  you?

  • Being social, I want them to know I'm chatty.
  • I have a great sense of humour.
  • Being reliable.
  • I am very creative, kind and happy.

What skills and strengths do you bring as a trainer and work colleague?

  • Reading my script and having an awesome memory.
  • Answering lots of questions.
  • Having a calm nature.
  • Enjoying being a co-trainer.
  • I am very punctual.
  • Talking to the NHS staff.
  • I am good at listening to people.

What helps you to feel included and valued at work? 

  • Having lots of support at work.
  • People are always kind to me.

What would you like people to do or remember after Learning Disability Week?

  • Come to the training.
