Podiatry Team take ‘Socks and Chocs’ to Crisis Skylight

Lynn Wellington and Sue Killpack

On December 20, Podiatrist’s Lynn Wellington and Sue Killpack took part in the volunteer foot care session at Crisis Skylight.

Crisis Skylight Coventry and Warwickshire is an outreach service that works with homeless individuals and those at risk of homelessness. Being homeless can take a real toll on the feet. At this foot care session Lynn and Sue provided a range of foot care treatments, treating corns and calluses, mycotic and gryphotic nails and blistering and maceration.

In addition to the foot care treatments, Lynn and Sue took a bundle of ‘Socks and Chocs’ with them, kindly donated by staff.

Crisis are dedicated to ending homelessness and delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change. There are many events organised over Christmas asking for volunteers to help improve the lives of some of Coventry & Warwickshire’s most vulnerable people. Visit their website for more information.
