New C-card service for young people in North Warwickshire
The Integrated Sexual Health Service at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust is rolling out the C-card scheme across North Warwickshire from 1 August 2017.
The scheme offers young people, aged 13 – 25 years old who live in Atherstone, Nuneaton, or North Warwickshire, the opportunity to get free condoms and maintain good sexual health.
Charlotte Hubbard, Head of Integrated Sexual Health Services at the Trust, said: “It’s important that young people take responsibility for their own sexual health. That’s why we’re delighted to be rolling out the C-Card scheme across North Warwickshire. The C-Card offers free condoms for 13-25 year olds.
“We want young people to stay safe. It’s really easy to sign up; they just go to one of the chemists below, which are easily identifiable by a purple sticker in the window.”
