Interim Chief Nursing Officer Announced at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust

Jacky Vincent will join CWPT on an interim 12-month secondment, to allow current Chief Nursing Officer, Mary Mumvuri, to step into the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer, following the retirement of Mel Coombes MBE in August 2025.
Jacky is currently working as Director of Nursing for NHS England - East of England, prior to which she was the Chief Nursing Officer at Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Trust.
Jacky is an experienced senior nurse leader in learning disability and mental health services, and has worked with national colleagues influencing the future of recruiting and retaining learning disability nurses, and with the Foundation of Nursing Studies as a Learning Disability Nurse Advisor. She is also co-chair of the national Model of Care Delivery Group, as part of the national Quality Transformation Programme in mental health, learning disability and autism, enabling systems and providers to achieve radical changes in the delivery of the programme.
Mel Coombes MBE, Chief Executive Officer at CWPT said, Jacky is a recognised and respected leader in learning disability nursing and a powerful advocate for staff and patients. It's a pleasure to welcome Jacky to CWPT and I know everyone is looking forward to working with her, as our current Chief Nursing Officer, Mary Mumvuri, acts as CEO.
I would like to thank Mary for all her incredible work as Chief Nursing Officer. I know she will lead the Trust as CEO with the same skill and dedication, following my retirement this summer.
Jacky said, I am delighted to be joining a Trust that shares the same values and commitment to putting patients at the heart of everything it does. I am passionate about the importance of providing high quality care, striving for and delivering the best outcomes for patients, carers and staff.
With the support of so many amazing and driven colleagues, I feel confident there is much we can achieve.
Jacky will take up her position on 1 August 2025.
