CWPT announce healthcare assistant recruitment day

Are you an aspiring or qualified healthcare assistant with a passion for mental health? Come along to our recruitment day to discover what a career in our inpatient mental health services can offer you.
Date: Wednesday 14 June
Time: 10 am – 12.30 pm or 1pm – 3.30pm
Location: Wayside House, Coventry, CV6 6NY
The day is an opportunity to meet our teams, learn about our specialist wards, and where a career as a healthcare assistant with #TeamCWPT can take you and your future.
The event will run in two parts, and you will be asked to choose from a morning or afternoon session when you register. Each session will open with a presentation, followed by opportunities to speak to our teams and learn about the fantastic staff benefits, training, and development on offer in the Trust. There will be on-the-day speed interviews and you could walk away from the event with a job offer.
There will be lots of exciting opportunities available on the day, including roles in:
- Acute mental health admissions and treatment wards
- Eating disorders
- Older adult wards
- Psychiatric intensive care wards
- Rehabilitation services.
We’re pleased to offer a progression route for healthcare assistants to support your career development at every level. This includes an apprenticeship programme to support aspiring healthcare assistants to become qualified, with further qualifications available for those who would like to become a nurse or nurse associate in the future.
To be interviewed on the day please bring:
- information you think could be relevant to your application, such as a CV, or supporting information
- photographic ID (such as a passport or driving license)
- qualifications or certificates
