Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) has launched a new careers website to help people get ready, get in, get on and go further in their career in the NHS.
Navigating careers in the NHS can be confusing as there are many different routes to a career and some of these are not widely known. For the first time, this newly launched website pulls all of this information into one place to support people of all ages to take the first step towards a career in the NHS and the Trust. These routes include apprenticeship opportunities, T Levels – a technical qualification broadly equivalent to an A Level, work experience and employability programmes, Sneak a Peek events and more. The website also outlines the support available for schools and colleges to enrich the experiences of students across Coventry and Warwickshire, in collaboration with other local NHS organisations.
The Talent for Care team, responsible for careers at the Trust, is also proud to support the ongoing development of colleagues who are already a part of team CWPT and working for the Trust through showcasing the vast number of opportunities that are open to them. Current members of staff, and those interested in joining the team can explore the website to discover a range of opportunities to progress and upskill, including apprenticeships (up to master’s degree equivalent), distance learning, internal training, the Care Certificate and Functional Skills.
The website also provides job profile pages, outlining the wide variety of roles and career pathways on offer in a range of patient-facing and support service roles. The website features the real-life experiences of colleagues who have benefited from the support and development offered by the team.
