Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust appoints Mary Mumvuri as Deputy Chief Executive

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) has appointed Mary Mumvuri as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Mary joined CWPT in January 2022, as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and will continue in this role alongside the Deputy Chief Executive Officer position.
 
Mary will be supporting Trust CEO, Mel Coombes MBE, in the delivery of the Trust’s ambition to become an “innovative, forward-thinking, and inclusive teaching organisation, enabling it to provide consistently high quality, safe and compassionate care.”
 
Prior to joining CWPT, Mary Mumvuri held several senior positions, including nursing leadership, clinical governance and quality improvement roles across both community and inpatient settings. Mary also currently works alongside the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as National Professional Advisor for mental health nursing.

Mel Coombes MBE, Chief Executive at CWPT said, “I am delighted to announce that Mary will be taking up the position of Deputy CEO here at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. Mary Mumvuri said, “I am thrilled to be appointed to the role of Deputy CEO at the Trust and am incredibly proud to work at CWPT. I look forward to continuing to work with the brilliant team here at CWPT to improve patient outcomes and ensure the provision of the highest quality of care for those in our communities.”
  
Mary takes up the position with immediate effect.
