Keith Jones

I have been at the Trust for 2 1/2 years.  My role has enabled me to have wide ranging contact with staff at all levels across the Trust, and it has given me a good insight into day to day staff concerns – many of which are never voiced, for a number of reasons.

In addition, my role means that I have a good understanding of Trust governance requirements, and having being a school governor in the past, it provides me with the experience of being able to approach each situation with a balanced approach.

I was recently involved in a Whistleblowing situation.  Staff involved requested I represent their concerns, rather than raising the matter themselves, having the confidence in my approach to deal with the matter.

I was one of 4 leaders developing the new Celebrating Success Awards process, from which I used my experience of listening to staff across the Trust about their concerns regarding the previous process, and my ability to implement these concerns into the new program, by changing the way nominees were evaluated, making it fairer.

I am deeply driven to try to make this Trust a better place.
