NEVER EVENTS

Definition - A serious, largely preventable patient safety incident that should not occur if the available preventative measures have been implemented by healthcare providers.

The Trust has no recorded Never Events since formation in 2006.

BUSINESS CONTINUITY

Like all public organisations, the Partnership Trust needs to be ready to respond to a wide range of major incidents and emergencies.

The organisation maintains a Major Incident Plan, which describes how different areas of our Trust will respond if a major incident impacts on what they do.

Each area of the organisations also maintains a business continuity plan, in which they account for actions that would be taken in the event of disruption to routine business arrangements.
