Trust shows support for building carer friendly communities
A series of events are planned across Coventry and Warwickshire in support of the National Carers Week from 8 to 11 June. Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust is pleased to support these events in partnership with Coventry Carers Centre and Guideposts Trust.
Information stands will be set up in various locations from shopping centres to hospital wards, giving carers and members of the public the chance to make their pledge towards building Carer Friendly Communities - the theme for this year’s Carers Week campaign.
Jamie Soden, Deputy Director of Nursing at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, said: “The Trust has a clear focus on providing help and support wherever possible, with our partners. It is vital that people who find themselves in a position of giving essential care can seek the additional help and advice they need, including a focus on their own wellbeing. These events are in appreciation of the support unpaid carers provide for their family members and friends.”
