Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust’s specialist Parkinson’s Nurses will be supporting Parkinson’s Awareness Week which runs from 20 – 26 April 2015 with a drop-in event this month.

If you would like more information about Parkinson’s, come along to their drop in session at City of Coventry Health Centre between 1.00pm and 4.00pm in the Room 2 on the ground floor next to the café.

Rachel Peskett, Parkinson’s Nurse Specialist Lead at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, said: “We want Parkinson’s Awareness Week to be about our patients and their carers and feel that setting up a drop-in session would give people an opportunity to talk to us and ask questions.  We also have other organisations coming along to show how they can support Parkinson’s sufferers in the city, including Age UK, Relate, Coventry Carers Centre and the Young Carers group.

“We would love to welcome as many people as possible to our drop in session and to be able to signpost them to support available to them in Coventry.”
