Margaret Bell

Margaret Bell was elected as County Councillor for Hartshill and Mancetter division in May 2017, she sits on Regulatory Committee and Children and Young People Overview and Scrutiny Committee. Margaret is also Borough Councillor for Hartshill Ward in North Warwickshire Borough Council, she was elected in May 2015 and sits on the Planning and Community and Environments Boards.She holds the Health and Wellbeing portfolio for NWBC and in that capacity is a member of WCC's Health and Wellbeing Board.

Margaret has been a Non-Executive Director in a number of Strategic Health Authorities from around 1996, she was Chairman of George Eliot NHS Trust from 2005 until 2009. She has a background in education and is a trustee of the Landau Forte Education Trust which sponsors academies in Tamworth and Derby; she is also the chairman of the board of governors of a Tamworth primary academy.

Margaret lives in Hartshill, North Warwickshire, she has 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
